How do I check a retro game's value?
Search the title and choose its platform and region. MyPlayersVault shows its current new, used and CEV value from real market data, along with price history.
Does it cover older consoles?
Yes — retro and older titles are covered alongside current games, across UK/PAL, NTSC-U (North America) and NTSC-J (Japan and Asia).
What if a sealed copy never comes up?
Where there is no NEW price for a title, its CEV is based on the USED value instead, so you still get a useful valuation.
What is CEV?
CEV stands for Collector Equity Value: MyPlayersVault's own estimate of what a game is genuinely worth to a collector, based on its vault score and live market data. It values the game in NEW condition, and where there is no NEW price it is based on the USED value instead.
Is it free to use?
A free account gives you a capped number of checks; Pro unlocks full access. Early members lock in a lower price while the platform is still in development.
